Account Opening
To get started, sign up for Webull using this link to receive 2 free stocks after your first deposit.
It takes around 2 to 3 business days to setup and approve your account.
Once your account is confirmed, you can make your first deposit via bank ACH and begin trading on the platform.
Right now, Webull is only available in the United States, India, Brazil, Turkey, Japan, China, and Korea. If you live in Canada or outside any of these countries then try Robinhood or another similar brokerage. I’ll review more stock trading apps in the future to give you some more options.

Webull has an amazing mobile app that makes it easy to buy and sell, build watchlists, and track stock, ETF, and crypto prices in real-time.

You can use the Watchlist feature to track individual assets on one single page. Here’s an example of my “EV Stocks” watchlist:
Create an unlimited amounts of watchlists for free within the Webull app even if you don’t make a single trade.

Webull Top Losers
Webull lists the biggest stock losers for the trading day. You can sort losers by different time ranges.
Desktop Trading Platform
Research
Webull really shines with its comprehensive technical & fundamental analysis data that helps making research pretty simple.
Education
Webull offers a demo paper trading account (aka virtual stock trading) to allow beginners to practice investing in stocks, ETFs, and crypto without risking any money.
You can access “Paper Trading” by clicking the Menu on the bottom right hand corner of the Webull app and pressing the “Paper Trade” icon.
Trading Stocks & Crypto
Webull offers free stock trades and that’s one of the main reasons I use the platform. You can setup limit or market orders along with advanced exit orders like trailing stops and stop losses.
Webull also supports fractional share trading and DRIP (dividend reinvestment plans) too.
However, I don’t recommend trading crypto on the platform because you cannot send your coins to another wallet (similar to the problem with Robinhood). When you purchase crypto on Webull, you hold a deritivate of the coin and must sell your crypto to lock in any gains.
If you are interested in HODLing your coins for the long run then I recommend using Coinbase or another cryptocurrency exchange instead.
If you’re just interested in trading crypto for a profit then Webull is a good enough choice.
Webull FAQ

I prefer Webull over Robinhood because Webull offers better watchlists, free paper trading, and advanced charts for day and swing traders. Robinhood is good for beginners but consider switching to Webull once you reach learn how investing works.
Webull is a good choice for crypto trading if you don’t mind using a third party service such as Apex Crypto instead of a traditional crypto wallet. You can store your coins on Webull and purchase crypto without any additional fees. You will only pay a 1% spread.
