Visa stock is one of my favorite digital payment stocks to own for the long term. The company maintains an established brand new in the payments sector as more people adopt banking around the emerging markets and continue to process transactions using the Visa network.
One of the things I love about Visa stock is its consistency in increasing revenue per quarter. Since 2007, we've seen a nice slow and steady increase quarter after quarter.
Management is committed to returning value to shareholders through share buybacks and a nice 0.67% dividend as incing on the cake.
Over the last 10 years, Visa stock has returned around 24% annually to investors, making it fit my Warren Buffett model for stocks with at least 20% annualized trailing returns.
I'm long term bullish on the stock and continue to add to my position over time.
Disclosure: I own shares of Visa stock.
