After graduating, Bankman-Fried worked for Jane Street Capital as an international ETF trader until he quit his to job to launch his own trading firm, Alameda Research.
Career
Sam Bankman-Fried earned millions of dollars trading Bitcoin via Alameda Research and found the cryptocurrenxy changed, FTX, in 2019.
He is regarded as the “King of crypto” and grew FTX into a major player in the crypto space.
He also provides liquidity for struggling crypto companies through his firm Alameda Research including bailout loans to Voyager, Celsius, and BlockFI.
