What is Litecoin?
Litecoin is a cryptocurrency that was created in 2011 by Charlie Lee, a former Google employee. It is often considered to be one of the first altcoins to emerge after Bitcoin, and is based on the same open-source code. Litecoin aims to improve upon some of the limitations of Bitcoin, such as slow transaction times and high fees. It uses a different mining algorithm called Scrypt, which allows for faster block generation and more efficient mining on consumer-grade hardware. Litecoin has a maximum supply of 84 million coins, four times that of Bitcoin. It has gained a significant following and is widely traded on cryptocurrency exchanges.

Litecoin could soar to as high as $1,000 by the end of the year thanks to the upcoming August 2023 Litecoin halving and the next crypto bull run.
LTC broke out past $100 in early 2023 and it looks like a lot of crypto bulls are noticing. Also, Litecoin is ranked #13 on the Coinmarketcap list and could make its way back into the top 10 soon.

Litecoin Price Prediction 2025
I predict the crypto bull run will peak in 2025 with many altcoins trading at extremely high prices. It’s possible that Litecoin could hit as high as $5,000 at the top of crypto bull market in September 2025. Once LTC prices peak then expect a selloff heading closer towards $1,000 per coin heading into 2026.
