Warren Buffett’s Letters to Shareholders

by Tarik Pierce on November 8, 2006

Warren Buffett’s letters to shareholders are a must read for all investors.

As CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffett has influenced contemporary investing through his shareholders letter. These sources are taught at universities and graduate schools across the country because they are loaded with key business concepts. Here’s a few of the many topics covered in the letters:

  • stock options
  • mergers and acquisitions
  • economics of the insurance industry
  • diversification
  • investment philosophy
  • investing metrics
  • risk profiles

Set a goal to read maybe two or three letters a week until you’ve read them all. I’ll also post some key points from the letters to serve as a guide.
