Try this new virtual stock trading and social networking site, httpd://zoodak.com. The site launched recently and award cash prize if we win the tournament. Also, they have a lot of other interesting stuffs. If we make correct predictions on tomorrow's stock price, we can get points which can be used to buy stuffs.

I recently found this Virtual Stock Trading Game that is pretty good. It contains free and paid competitions along with various prizes for the winners. I'm just getting into the market and am trying to learn about it before I go throwing money around. Anyone Have experience with any other Stock Market Games?

lcm – I agree. Once you get used to the markets, buying and selling gets a lot easier. Practice makes perfect.

Also, love the military analogy. Investing is like a life-long training course. Those who continue to practice perform the best.

Emotions are easier to cope with when you have the mechanics down. It’s just like military training. The reason you train so much is that when you get in a firefight you don’t think, you only respond the way you’ve been trained.

Every time I get emotional, I try to calm down before conducting any trades. Letting your emotions get the best of you leads to poor decision making.

These games are good for understanding the mechanics of trading however without your own money being involved you are leaving your emotions on the sidelines. Just watch an gambler at the race track, its a ton of emotion all day long.
