March in Review

Written By Tarik

March was an interesting month mainly because I have tried a few new things as an active investor. My investments have grown from traditional stocks and bonds to foreign mutual funds, domain names, treasury bills, and loans via Prosper.com.

Making the Switch From ShareBuilder to TradeKing

After I made the switch from ShareBuilder to Tradeking, I realized the advantage of utilizing important investment options such as limit trades and trailing stops. If you want to become a serious investor, you should switch to a brokerage that offers a full range of investment options.

One of TradeKing’s biggest features is options trading, and I am beginning to research the advantages of options trading. In April, you will learn how to trade options if you haven’t already.

Best Posts of March

I answered a lot of reader requests in March, so if you have any investment questions, send me an e-mail. Sharing knowledge is what keeps blogging interesting, and no one can do that alone.

Plans For April

1. 20 Stocks in 30 Days

Instead of posting my entire watch list, I will post my watch list adds as they occur. So for April, my goal is to introduce you to 5 new stocks every week. I encourage my readers to submit requests for any stocks that they have been following. I like to read about new stocks, too!

2. More Arbitrage Opportunities

Another goal is to identify more opportunities for arbitrage within the stock market, preferably ones that require little risk on your part.
